Message	that an upgraded cam would have a more radical (taller) lobe pattern, and maybe a different degree of lobe separation. To use a stock cam to make a lobe more radical, metal would first have to be added to the lobes, then ground down to whatever spec - too much work when there are xx number of lobes on four cams.
